Early Monsoons

Hello all,

This is my first blog, my attempt at communicating on a new social realm. I wanted to share images of the new gallery and wood kiln behind Taos Clay.

Currently there are some North Carolinans firing our new manibigama, or as we call it, the Obabagama, in hopes that it will stimulate interest in Taos Clay and stimulate interest in woodfiring so that customers and clients can see the firing first hand behind the gallery.

I have expanded the gallery to take over the entire building. This consisted of moving my studio up front, puting up a metal partition, building a sign and new shelving, I have managed to find some local resources for pedestal and my uncle, the Silver Fox, out in Marin County, has put together some fabulous floating shelving. I even added a little red gravel to make the building pop as you drive by.

I hope to be updating the blog once a week for clients, and people interested in whats happening at Taos Clay.

Cheers for now
